What are the best white wines in France?
Question submitted by Yvan Duvant

There are many white wines in France and many different white wines, therefore it is quite difficult to answer the question.

White wines from Burgundy are probably the best, and contenders as best white wine in the world.

Recommended top white wines from Burgundy are:

- Chablis grands cru

- Corton Charlemagne

- Meursault

- Batard Montrachet

Sancerre and Pouilly Fumé in the Loire Valley are also among the best white wines.

Pessac Leognan is the best white wine in Bordeaux.

Condrieu in the Rhone Valley is also a remarkable white wine.

Alsace is a great white wine region and Riesling its most famous wine.

And there are many other white wines worth tasting!
