What percentage of land in France is wine producing ?

In 2004, 53% of the land in France is covered by farms.

Vineyards only cover 1.72% of the land in France.

3.23% of the farm land is covered by vines.

There are 27,000 wineries in France. They make their own wines. And in total 110,000 vinegrowers.

Altogether, they produce roughly 4 billion bottles of wine per year.
