How long can Chablis be stored before drinking ?

It depends on the classification of the Chablis wine.

The classification is specified on the label, underneath the name of the wine.

It starts with "Appellation Chablis..."

Appellation Petit Chablis Controlée: drink now, should be drunk young

Appellation Chablis Controlée: 2 to 5 years

Appellation Chablis Premier Cru Controlée: 3 to 7 years

Appellation Chablis Grand Cru Controlée: 5 to 12 years

Obviously a Grand Cru is the best Chablis available
