2  Italy
3  Spain
4  United States of America
5  Argentina

10 Chile

In 2004 the total wine production in France was 49 million hectoliters, roughly 4 billion bottles of wine.

  •  35.7 million red wine (including rosé)
  •  13.3 million white wine
