Pinot Gris

Pinot Gris is an Alsatian grape-variety. It is also called "Tokay d'Alsace". Pinot Gris is used for the intense white wines of this region.

Pinot Gris grape is a very exacting variety with small bluish grains. Its character varies depending on good or bad season. It might be light and fruity or robust.

The Tokay d'Alsace has nothing to do with Hungarian Tokay.

Aromas: dried fruits, wood, spice

French wines: Tokay d'Alsace, Tokay Pinot Gris information

Other white grapes: Chardonnay - Chenin Blanc - Clairette - Muscadelle - Sauvignon - Semillon - Ugni Blanc - Viognier - Red Grapes
